The CSFP program provides low income seniors, children, pregnant and
post-partum women with a monthly box of nutritious foods including:
CSFP is a federally funded program that provides food to people who fit into the following categories:
Because CSFP is a federal program, there are certain requirements in addition to that of the Food Bank. Firstly, you must have a valid proof of address in Thurston County. You also must self-verify your income, stating your income does not exceed the government guidelines. Thurston County Food Bank staff review eligibility status every six months in order to make sure you still qualify. Children receiving WIC are not eligible for CSFP. If you have more questions about CSFP eligibility, please ask a TCFB staff member.
TCFB distributes CSFP food to clients who visit our building in downtown Olympia. We also distribute CSFP food through the Mobile Food Bank program. Through the Mobile program, we deliver CSFP food door-to-door to senior housing locations.
