A volunteer Board of Directors made up of community
leaders governs the food bank. Our service area includes the
urban core of Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, their surrounding growth
areas and underserved parts of Thurston County.
TCFB works closely with rural food banks in Rochester, Tenino
and Yelm, providing direct food assistance and technical
support, while functioning as the lead agency for the Food
Lifeline and Emergency Food Assistance Programs.
Philosophy
We believe that the hungry must be fed in an atmosphere
of neighbor helping neighbor.
Mission
It is the mission of the Thurston County Food bank to eliminate
hunger within our community.
